Drake to participate at Rapathon 5 in Harlem, NY

Drizzy will be displaying his freestyle skills at this year's Rapathon.  Rapathon is a 24 hour event, where over 100 MC’s, rappers,  beatboxers, poets and DJs will participate in the world’s longest, ongoing rhyme session free of cursing, abusive or foul language, to show their support and solidarity for the new Hip Hop Culture Center in Harlem, to set a new world record and raise money for the Center.  When approached about his intentions for attending this event he responded that he wants to be apart of an experience that really tests his freestyle skills.  He's requested that when he's on the mic that he flows to beats by his producer.  Seems fair.  An emcee of his calibre will bring all kinds of crazy exposure to this event so why not!

In addition, he wished that they had a Rapathon in Toronto.  Rapathon 5 is being held at the Hip Hop Culture Center in Harlem on May 21 to May 22 for 28 straight hours. if you would like to be part of the festivities audition dates are below and are being conducted at the Center.
